Robert “Bobby” Clark, sentenced to life in prison for the shooting death last June of his 6-year-old grandson, could face more charges following the death this week of his wife.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) preliminary report of the cause of death cited complications from the June 7 incident at the Clarks’ Troy Street residence in Commerce.

A Jackson County Grand Jury Monday indicted Martin Lewis Seymour, 31, of 211 Arlington Lane Commerce, on murder charges stemming from the Dec. 4 shooting death of his wife, Jamie Sue Seymour, 29.

Seymour faces arraignment Monday, March 9.

Suspect arrested in Arlington Lane shooting death

A Commerce man who allegedly shot his sleeping wife multiple times in the head early Friday morning then called his parents and told them to come pick up the troubled couple’s 3-year-old daughter. He then called 911 and told the operator he’d killed his wife.
